I just wanted to tell you all that this story, my first ever Joshayley that is by no means perfect or polished in any way, has been here for over a year! Seeing how many people have enjoyed this and looking at all the comments/tweets/notes you guys drop about it--it blows my mind. No way did I think so many people would enjoy such a simple fanfiction. You all have shown the greatest support, and for that I am VERY thankful. So thanks for reading this and supporting it! If you just found this fanfic...I hope you enjoy. A few trends in fanfics/the internet that I've noticed since the publication of this blog:
- Lots of people have been using the colors orange and black like I did in this story in their own fanfics. Whenever they write a passage in Hayley's POV or Josh's POV, they use the colors orange and black.
- Many people began pursuing fanfiction and joining Buzznet to publish their work, like I did. There was a sudden surge of Paramore fans that joined Buzznet in 2009, and lots of you are telling me that this story was the reason for your membership. That's really amazing.
- Stories of Josh and Hayley as high school teens have surfaced all over recently; I know that I'm not the first one to do this idea and I don't want to brag at all, but lots of you have been starting to write your own high school love stories with this as inspiration. Awesomness.
